Love At First Sight – Coz poetry doesnt have to rhyme

Love at First Sight? I guess that’s what they call it.
I never believed that there is such a thing or is it some kind of phenomenon?
I never thought it was possible, but it happened, and now I know, it is true!
I thought it would take forever before I fall in love again,
and I thought I would never love another….
But I was wrong… So wrong
Because it only took less than a second
to change that perspective when you came

I have never seen anyone as beautiful as you, never in my entire life
When you cried, I wanted to be the one to make you smile
I love talking to you, even when you don’t say a thing
i love watching you even if you seem to stare blankly into space all the time

I understand, you don’t really see me the way I want you to see me now,
but soon I know you will, and I know you would love me just the same.

I love you now, and I will love you for as long as I could
Now, I can say, I am truly in love with two people at the same time
She who left, and you who came to make me smile again
I love you both, I love her more though….

I’m sorry, it’s not like what you think. It’s just that…
Ok, no more excuses, I know there is no way I can explain
and I know you won’t understand right now, maybe someday…

But You know what…
I would be the happiest person in this world,
If you came, and she never went away

Two-Timing-Madufkr huh?
Yeah, i know…
Damn, right?
Damn I love her!!!!
and I love you too.
Nah.. it’s not what they think.
It’s just.. yah whatever, ok?

Love at first sight…
Did I really have to see you first, before I loved you?
Not really…

I know I have always loved you, I just didn’t know how much
and I just had no way to express it.
But now, I am pretty sure about how I feel.

I know I can’t have you forever,
And just like the other person I love,
You too will leave me one day,
or perhaps, it will be the other way around.

I love her, and I love you too… I know that is way complicated

I know I can’t deny that I wish you were a representation of everything that’s her.
But rest assured that I loved you for who you are and not for any other reason…
And definitely not because I saw her in you.

All I am asking for is a chance… a chance to let me love you,
One day I know…. You will learn to love me too.
And everything will fall into place

So, was it really Love at first sight?
Maybe…

Maybe not…

i love her… I really do, and I hope you’ll understand.
so what am I really trying to say now?
I dunno…

Bittersweet Collide Changes

I guess everyone is just as bored as I am with the way bittersweet collide used to look like. Aside from its excessive loading time, the header image also used a lot of space, featured and headline entries were redundant and recent entry shows is just one. Bittersweet collide was created by Lex to showcase some love poetry and I guess it’s just right that I place them right affront where people can easily find them. I know there may be some people, actually a lot of them who doesn’t agree with the idea. But I felt the need for change.

It’s time for Bittersweet Collide to move on. I have long neglected writing because of the fear that I may just completely ruin what Lex has started, but me(Jay) and my wife Angel are going to work on bittersweet collide from now on. I guess a good site is hard to put down, and this may not be the greatest poetry site this is on the net, but this means a lot to my sib. I hope you guys would continue to read on. I wish I could post some of Lex’s unpublished entries, but I guess it won’t a be a great idea. For now, just let me do my thing. After all, bittersweet collide isn’t just for one person…. this site is for everyone.

Love and Happiness awaits at the end of the rainbow

Every time the rain pours so heavy in this life
the aftermath of every darkness is a cloud with a silver light
and then the sun glows and dark clouds slowly disappear
the haze becomes clear as the rainbow appears…

Love and Happiness awaits at the end of the rainbow
Could it be true???

Do you think it’s true that we could find
the treasure of love like a pot of gold?
…that at the end of the rainbow tears run dry
and happiness will be�mine and�yours?

You said you’ll wait for me, I said I will do the same…
No matter how long it takes, no matter what fate may bring
But what if I won’t be able to make it back home?
If I’d end up at the end of the rainbow, will you come?

Love Waits

I am patient, I can wait

I am an active subject
I am the flying wind

true love is like taking a walk in the elliptical

a journey in place – never ending

you can walk your fastest and even try to run..
but you can never run or walk away.

you stop, look around and you’re still there.
the same old place, same old faces
just a little exhausted – but refreshed

you rest for awhile…

and then you take that journey again
same journey over and over again,
still in the same place

still the same feeling, only stronger.

pencils and bleeding pens

One night I woke up and found myself lying beside you
I could not help but stare at your beautiful face
I gathered my pencils, and started to trace
to capture your beauty in my sketch

…but it seems that my pencils failed
and my purpose defeated
for no matter how perfect my masterpiece is–
It’s still nothing compared to you…

I got my pen, and wrote down every possible words
that would best describe how beautiful you are
and how much love I feel for you

My pens bleed with words
and my brains with it….
But they died in the end – still a failure

My pencils and bleeding pens could never capture
and would never be able to describe
Your beauty and Love.

Nothing could.

The Importance of Feedback

Feedbacks are the best way to evaluate ourselves. So, if people give you either negative or positive feedback, don’t let it affect your ego. A good feedback is more of a recognition of the good things you’ve done, while the negative ones are simply reminders that you need to do better.� Both needs to be� accepted�wholeheartedly like a recognition on engraved plaques, as a reminder that there’s an unlimited room of improvement for everything.

A great site, very well organised. You can see that from the first page. The articles are organised, on two columns, and each article has a photo. This site has some great graphics, and i love the way the articles are organised on the first page. It gives me a feeling, of a clean site, with fine pictures. The Love Convict On Forbidden Love

Many of us are love convicts, I admit being a major love convict. If loving were a crime, I’m probably the most wanted criminal in town, or who knows– in the whole wide world? I am guilty – guilty beyond reasonable doubt. I don’t mind though, because I’m happy loving someone. So happy that smile won’t leave my lips even when I’m asleep.

It’s normal for people to judge people, most especially if� they are engaged in what they call “FORBIDDEN LOVE“. But I guess, there’s no such thing as right or wrong when it comes to love. Wrong time perhaps, or wrong circumstance, for LOVE and loving itself could never be wrong.

On Forbidden Love

One of the hardest things to battle with in love, is loving someone who isn’t yours, or can’t be yours. But, the more difficult the struggle becomes, when that person loves you back just the same. – bittersweet collide

And I love the beautiful quote by the famous RM Rilke: “For one human being to love another: that is perhaps the most difficult of our tasks; the ultimate, the last test and proof, the work for which all other work is but preparation.”

it's almost time

but we’re being torn apart

by time, fate, and circumstance

Every chance I get, I wrap myself around you

Coz it’s almost time..

It’s almost time to say goodbye, again
but this time, it might be for good
if not – how long will it take?
When will you be back in my arms again?

Should I hope or should I despair?
