It’s great to see that there are still some girls who are really into sports and other productive stuff, aside from being fashion slaves and shoppaholics. It’s so unexpected for a person who loves make-up and eyelash growth products, and other beauty stuff, to be seen doing tough sports like motocross. But Aia seems to prove that wrong. She’s one of the motocross riders in town and not just a regular rider, but one of the best. It’s pretty awesome, I must say. Reminds me of Mikee Cojuangco, another great female sportsperson, who is into horseback riding. These girls do rock and deserve a lot of appreciation and recognition. At least, it shows, that there are still those who dares to step-up and really excel in a field that they most unlikely to. Thumbs up!
I am a certified bookworm. Anywhere I go, no matter how short span of time I stay at a certain place, I always bring a book with me just incase boredom strikes, or I’ll have nothing to do. I don’t know with other but for me, books are the best things to turn to and divert your attention to, when all else fails.
Next to actual experience, books are good teachers. Though experience is the best teacher, books are better when experience is not learned and applied in life. With books we learn things in a day that would normally take days, months or even years to learn had we not read a book. Books are written by authorities in their fields of expertise, and the knowledge we gain from them are not easily available from other sources.
I am a bookworm from childhood up to now. One student asked me once, if I were a medical student, coz I was reading a medical book. Thanks to the great mind behind it, for sharing it to the public. I can now go their after my biking session and do stuff I need to do, even when I’m out. And when I’m here, I can connect using vpn. I even see kids with their acer laptop computers spending their time at the park after school or during weekend afternoons, playing tetris on facebook, or other games. I’ve just noticed, Tetris seems to be getting more and more popular again these days. It’s really a classic game that captures the hearts of both young and old. Glad there’s a free wifi hotspot for people of all ages, so they can play together, especially for those families who doesn’t have internet connection at home.
I will be leaving for the nearby shop to get some parts of my bike replaced. I will be getting a new pair of interiors and maybe have to really replace the sealed bearings in my pedals. It’s already making a squeaky sound every time I pedal. The crank set is still in A+ condition so I’ll just have it as is, only the internal part needs the new bearings and maybe need some lube too. It’s a pretty simple mechanism just like thrust bearings that is essential when it comes to correct and smooth operation of any machinery. I will be using my bike more often now, since I will be taking part at the earth hour’s ride, Christmas and New Year and all other events after that. I can’t wait for it. I’m so excited to join all other fellow bikers who will also be riding to support earth hour’s cause.
