And oh before I forget one of the reasons why I’m doing this One Step at a time post is because I find this video really cute. Love how these siblings pulled off the video. Check it out guys! Love that lil boy in the background. *LOL* I think there are actually two lil boys in there(twins),and of course the lil sis mimicking her older sister. Great Job guys!

One Step At a Time - Jordin Sparks

Hurry up and wait
So close, but so far away
Everything that you’ve always dreamed of
Close enough for you to taste
But you just can’t touch

You wanna show the world, but no one knows your name yet
Wonder when and where and how you’re gonna make it
You know you can if you get the chance
In your face as the door keeps slamming
Now you’re feeling more and more frustrated
And you’re getting all kind of impatient waiting

[Chorus:]
We live and we learn to take
One step at a time
There’s no need to rush
It’s like learning to fly
Or falling in love
It’s gonna happen and it’s
Supposed to happen that we
Find the reasons why
One step at a time

You believe and you doubt
You’re confused, you got it all figured out
Everything that you always wished for
Could be yours, should be yours, would be yours
If they only knew

You wanna show the world, but no one knows your name yet
Wonder when and where and how you’re gonna make it
You know you can if you get the chance
In your face as the door keeps slamming
Now you’re feeling more and more frustrated
And you’re getting all kind of impatient waiting

[Chorus]

When you can’t wait any longer
But there’s no end in sight
when you need to find the strength
It’s the faith that makes you stronger
The only way you get there
Is one step at a time

[Chorus x2]

One of the most loving person I know and love would be my grandma. She’s always been there for me ever since the day I was born. Now that she’s growing older, I want to be able to take care of her too. I want to give her everything that she needs. From as simple as her meds, incontinence supplies, clothes, little luxuries, and most important of all, time. Time to just sit back and relax, and talk. My grandma loves looking at old photos and reminiscing the good old days. I love seeing that beautiful smile on her face everytime. I really miss my grandma. I hope we’d be together again soon.

Are you thinking of going away somewhere with your loved one? I suggest you check out Branson. They have so much to offer for less. Their packages are definitely worth it. With a nice place to lodge in with all the world class amenities, shows to watch out for, as well as places to visit, you would truly get ten times more than the value of the money that you’d pay for. You can even get a chance to win a free trip package, in fact I just had my name included in their drawing. I am praying I would win this one. Because I would really love to check out all their museums. They have the Hollywood Wax Museum - Ripley’s Believe it or Not - Ralph Foster Museum, and the World’s Largest Antique Toy Museum. When it comes to customizing your itinerary, you definitely can, and you could choose from not only their ready packages, but bid for your choice of lodging, shows, and etc, that would fit your budget. Stressed out? I guess you just need one great Branson getaway!

Like for me, I love joining Halloween costume parties and contests with my friends and family. We dedicate some special time to bond and put on our creative thinking caps. Together we make our own unique costumes. Alright, mine isn’t really that unique, because I prefer a not so scary costume. When I was a kid, my mom brought me this little devil costume, while all my other cousins had their super hero costumes, I was a little devil standing at the side. But, the great thing about it is I always stood out in every photo because I looked different from them. Some sort of a villain, but cute at that. And besides, hell boy is no super villain. Costumes of different designs became so popular in the market, although some companies resort to using some chemicals and other plastics, which was later found out to be toxic and not good for the kids, and even adults. So, the authorities make sure that manufacturers and Halloween costume artists should focus more on halloween costume safety more than just the design itself. Aside from the costumes, what makes the season more exciting is the creepiness. It’s good to get scared once in a while, and to scare people, but of course not to the extent that they’ll get a heart attack or anything of that sort. I love doing trick or treat with my friends, and what’s nice about our community is that, everyone participates. So, at the end of trick or treating, kids go home happy with their buckets filled with sweets, chocolates, candies, and even coins.

It makes me wonder if I could still celebrate Halloween this year…

Whenever I ask her what’s her secret, she would just smile and say, the love for cooking and the love for the people you are cooking for. When you love what you do, you find happiness, and you share happiness through your every dish. Leaving each and everyone who eats it, smiling. She makes a lot of sense to me, but more than the sense of wisdom that she imparts, I can’t help but look forward to the perfect paella right form Lola’s paella pan. When I get well, I want to go home, and ask Lola to cook for me again.

I just finished talking to my mom on the phone. She told me that she’s back into gardening again. I’m glad she is, it works like progesterone for her and helps her to stay away from stress. My mom is happy when it’s all green and the plants are blooming with flowers. Anyway, She told me about the things that happened to my sis. I’m glad that she’s well now, although I got sad to hear about Jian having this little car accident. She’s not the type who would just make such a very petty mistake that could cost her life. I’m just glad that it was just a minor thing and no one was hurt. I told her she’d better try doing gardening with my mom, perhaps it would help her too. Or better yet, try to take some anti stress supplements.

There are people wh0 can walk away fr0m u and hear me when I tell u this: When people walk away from you, let them walk. I d0n’t want y0u t0 try t0 talk t0 that person t0 stay with you, love u, call u, care about u, c0me to see u, stay attached t0 u. I mean hang up the phone. When people walk away from u, let them walk. ur destiny is never tied to anybody that left. The bible said that, “they came out from us that it might be made manifest that they were not for us. For had they been of us, no doubt they would have continued with us. –[1 John 2:19]””””

People leave you because they are n0t j0ined t0 u. And if they are n0t j0ined t0 u, you can’t make them stay. Let them go. And it d0esn’t mean that they are a bad pers0n it just means that their part in the story is over. And u’ve g0t t0 kn0w when pe0ple’s part in y0ur st0ry is 0ver s0 that u d0n’t keep trying t0 raise the dead. u’ve g0t t0 kn0w when it’s dead. You’ve got to know when it’s over. Let me tell y0u something. I’ve g0t the gift of good-bye. It’s the tenth spiritual gift, I believe in good-bye. It’s not that I’m hateful, it’s that I’m faithful, and I kn0w whatever GOD means f0r me t0 have He’ll give it t0 me. And if it takes t00 much sweat I d0n’t need it. Stop begging people to stay. Let them go.

If you are holding on to something that doesn’t belong to you and was never intended for your life,
Then you need to…
LET IT GO.

If you are holding on to past hurts and pains…
LET IT GO.

If someone can’t treat you right, love you back, and See your worth…
LET IT GO.

If someone has angered you…
LET IT GO.

If you are holding on to some thoughts of evil and revenge…
LET IT GO.

If you are involved in a wrong relationship or addiction…
LET IT GO.

If you are holding on to a job that no longer meets your needs or talents…
LET IT GO.

If you have a bad attitude…
LET IT GO.

If you keep judging others to make yourself feel better…
LET IT GO.

If you’re stuck in the past and God is trying to take you to a new level in Him…
LET IT GO.

If you are struggling with the healing of a broken relationship…
LET IT GO.

If you keep trying to help someone who won’t even try to help themselves…

LET IT GO.

If you’re feeling depressed and stressed…
LET IT GO.

If there is a particular situation that you are so used to handling yourself and God is saying “take your hands off of it,” then you need to…
LET IT GO.

Let the past be the past. Forget the former things.
GOD is doing new things for the present.

I’m a little sad because I wont be able to go online for awhile, and I just wanted to have a little time with my friends online through IMVU. I have a few new great stuff that i bought recently. But my favorite is the number 21 and skull pizza shirt that JJ bought for me.I always wear it with my brown plaid long shorts and the cutie Dansko sandals. Hope I get to connect soon.

I just got to talk to my friend Sadie about blogging and getting a paypal account to make purchasing online easier for her. Sadie is so much into books, she’s actually a great writer that’s why I suggested blogging to her. Anyway, I found out that she actually doesn’t have a credit card yet. Obviously, she needs one to be able to verify her account. Sadie is not really that savvy when it comes to computers and the internet. She have not tried buying anything from the internet or anything of that sort. Although she’s always been interested in applying for a credit card. I told her that there are actually great resources when it comes to credit card applications online, like say RequestCredit.com is one great example. The site offers not only great credit card deals but is also a helpful and great resource of information about credit cards. Sadie does meet all the requirements to apply for one, so I told her if ever she could read though, and check out the best credit card deal that would suit her. I got mine from Citibank and I’m pretty contented with it. Having one does not only give me purchasing power, but it also helps improving my credit standing. Given that you pay on time of course and you have a good credit history. I can’t wait till Sadie gets her account. At least when she has her credit card, she can purchase all the great books she’d want to purchase online.

Personal touch is very important when it comes to gift. I think the price and the amount only comes next, it’s always the thought that counts. No matter how small or big, how expensive or cheap, or even when a gift doesn’t come with a price tag. When it’s heartily given, it could mean so much more than any other gifts. Well, that’s my opinion. If the price matters to you more, then I guess that’s your thing too. But, for me those personalized gifts that I received are gifts that I treasure the most. One example is the handkerchief that my grandmother gave me when I was a kid. It wasn’t just a plain one, because she embroidered my name on it. Sweet, isn’t it? I think, any kid that you give either a handcrafted or simply a personalized item to, would always remember you, because you gave them something precious to remember you by — your personal touch.
