You often see leather briefcase for men in different colors and sizes. Briefcases seems to have become a symbol of professionalism, as they often go with coat and tie, and are used for official business transactions, and men carrying them, seems to hold a high degree, or status in life.

No, I’m not stereotyping. I’m simply stating my opinion and observation. But despite all that, do you know that whenever I see anyone carrying a briefcase, it reminds me of the old magician, who visited our place, way back when I was a kid. I know that’s pretty strange. But any kid, who has experienced the same thing, would also tell you exactly the same association. Really, nothing beats magic.

But another modern magic for me is how concept collapsible bikes can now fit inside a briefcase. Well, it’s not literally that small, but it’s still a briefcase. I’m really fascinated by it, and can’t help but wish that I’ll have one too. Although I’m a back-packer type of person, so, I need not wait for that type of bike to be sold to the masses, since the folded bikes that fits into a backpack are now readily available in the market.

I’m just excited with the idea, that someday soon, those leather briefcases will also have those bikes in them, and you’ll never know, until they unfold them before your eyes. How about you? What’s inside your briefcase?

picnic table for kids

I plan to design picnic table for kids. You know how kids love it when they feel like they have something that they could call their own. Not just a play-thing, but something that’s used in real life, like kiddie chairs or picnic tables. They even love it more, when it’s customized and has their name on it.

I haven’t really designed any furniture in awhile. But after browsing through the net and seeing those cute kiddie furniture galleries, it inspired me to do designs again, not for the main purpose of making profit out of it, but also for the joy and smiles it will bring those little kids.

I’d also love to give a gift to a certain little kid, but perhaps it would be a customized chair. He would definitely love to have one, or maybe a set, so he could share it with friends and playmates who frequently visits him.

sending flowers online

Have you tried sending flowers online? If so, how was the experience? I’m planning to do that soon. There’s a family I’d like to send flowers to, but I don’t know if the online flower shops actually send sympathy memorial or funeral flowers. Perhaps they do, and I’ll try to do it, since I can’t go to my friend’s wake.

He succumbed to the non-living world just recently. It’s so sad to hear of a friend’s passing, but I guess that’s life. It would have been better though if he lived for the love of his family, rather than gave up on his life due to all his problems.

All problems has their own solutions, maybe not right away, but in time, things always get better. They say, if things isn’t better, it isn’t the end, because things will always be well in the end.

There are people who would do everything and even spend all their fortune, even swear to sell their soul to the dark one, just to live. It’s sad how others waste their lives and throw it away just like that. I could only sympathize with his family now, and I hope things will be better for them somehow.

Burp Day

Nadir will be celebrating his natal day soon, and his wife asked me what’s the best gift to give my fella. I told her, it doesn’t really matter as long as it’s from the heart. She said during her birthday she got a scott kay jewelry from him, and she’d like to surprise him with a gift too, on his special day. I told her, since my friend has a very big appetite, just cook his favorite dishes on his birthday, and invite some of his friends over, to surprise him. That includes me, of course! And I would be lucky to take part of the mouth watering feast. But hey, my suggestion wasn’t that selfish. I actually thought of my friend when I suggested that. I just later realized that it’ll be a great burp day for all of us. Can’t wait for it. It’ll be happening a couple of weeks from now.

A different view

I’m trying to look at things from a different view. I’ve actually tried this a lot of times before, and yes, I’m still doing it. I’ll do it over and over again until I finally see that view that will finally bring me back to the right track. I’ve been doing different things, trying out different careers and even thought of venturing into buying and selling machinery and equipment like what my friend does, like maybe venture into high grade imported hydraulic power unit and distribute them locally in a much lower price than other distributors. But sales is not my forte anymore. Actually, I’ve no idea right now, just what my forte is, as of the moment. Perhaps if there’s something I’m good at, it would be falling and drifting. I’ve totally lost balance and control of my life, and just going with the flow. I wonder why it’s taking me awhile to regain my long lost consciousness.

New Year’s Luck

I don’t know if it’s just plain luck or it has something to do with the new year, but I got pretty lucky winning a few grands. I wanna say I wish I won more, but I’m really thankful for the blessing, since it’s enough to cover up for my dues. It may not be that much, but it’s a great help for someone like me who’s struggling to cope at the moment. My friend’s been luring me to buy another toy to satisfy my craving, but it won’t be right. Maybe it’s even a much better decision to just buy gold online and see what one can make out of it, something more precious than the metal’s value itself, than to spend my money on something that I already have. Besides, there’s still tomorrow, life will be laying more demands before me, and the amount I have, is not even enough to cover a fraction of it. So, for now, I’ll just tighten my belt some more, stitch up my pockets and save for the rainy days.

Bike and Talk

Bike and Talk Friendship Club is on it’s way to another adventure. Bikers are ready to take another trip, this time to the south going to to Toledo by way of Manipis. It will be one exciting adventure. Too bad I can’t go this time around, but for sure, I will be at Sinulog Festival’s night ride. My bike’s all set and clean. So shiny it reflects just like the new laminate floors of the bike studio I went to yesterday. Talking about that, I’ve seen one of my colleague’s project bike. I was astounded by the looks of it, so suave, I wish I could have it for myself. Time will come, I’ll have a much better ride than his. Dream on. Haha. That guy doesn’t seem to know the value of money, spending right and left, buying stuff for his ride. It’ll be his third, and he spent over fifty grands for each. I definitely can’t beat that. For now, my ride is pretty fly, for less.

Who’s the real boss?

Have you ever experienced trying to find a certain important person, who holds the key to your own success? I just watched three idiots for the second time, and for some reason, I can’t help but laugh even if I’ve already seen the movie before. Most especially at the last part. Some people become too arrogant when they think they’ve reached success, not knowing, others could actually become more successful, without trying to hard. It’s also quite worrisome to see how how some people would use others in order to achieve the titles that they could put on their desk name plates.
If there’s one lesson learned, it’s to never judge or presume, because you’ll never know, maybe you’re actually talking to the big boss of the company, and you’re completely unaware. A lot of people make such mistakes, often missing the opportunities to build rapport and make a good first impression. But the worst part is, if you’ve known the person for so long and belittled their capabilities, and end up realizing, you’ve become nothing, compared to them. And in the end… you’ll end up getting hit in your face with the lines… “now Who’s the real boss?”
