I’ve been thinking of a good gift to give my friend’s grandfather whom I’m asking a favor from. He also treats me like a grandson and I treat him as my own grandpa. He’s the type who loves to drink wine and smoke high grade cigars, so I guess I have to do a little research on what kind I should get him.

Maybe I should go for the wine, but I need to search on another friend’s wine shop to find a good one. I don’t really have much, but for a person who have a collection of good old and expensive wines, he must not be that easy to please.

Anyway, people always say, it’s the thought that counts and not the monetary value when it comes to presents for the kind-hearted ones. Besides, the way I see him, he’s a good person, and I’m sure he’d be more than willing to help me out, with or without any gift.

My baby really loves drinking coffee but not the usual coffee mix because she loves to add one tablespoon of milo chocolate drink to her coffee. I’m not quite sure how that taste like because I have not tried that myself.

It must taste real good though, because she can’t seem to get enough of it. She even used to pair it with slice of cake or freshly baked cookies and sometimes even dip pandesal to her coffee. I don’t find that weird though coz I’ve done that in the past.

I’m thinking perhaps I should give her a couple of custom mugs printed with the image of Agnes of Despicable Me and her fluffy unicorn. I think she also likes Dug, that cute little doggie from the movie Up by Pixar Studio.

I’m pretty sure that she like it a lot. I bet she’d like to use the mugs more often even if not for coffee. I can’t wait to see that cute reaction on her face.

I had sleepless nights in Danao because I wasn’t so comfortable sleeping all curled up in the couch. Days before I went there I also had very short periods of sleep causing me to have panda-looking eyes with the dark circles around them.

I went to the small mall there to buy a phone since my previous one got totally wrecked, and I needed a new one for communication purposes. While I was there, I saw this shop which sells dermatology products and I asked if they had eye cream for dark circles.

Luckily, they have their own formulated creams and I got one. The packaging is pretty small, yet according to the dermatologist and owner, that it’s pretty effective. I’ve tried it soon as I got back to my friend’s place, and had it on on overnight. The day after I was surprised to see such great results. It’s really true, that some big surprises may come in small packages.

I wish I got the bigger one though, just in case. Because I don’t know when I would be going back to that mall. Actually, I had no idea that mall existed, and maybe I’d rather go there than go to SM next time coz it’s way too far.

I went to see my old friend Banjo who offered me a good deal that could possibly turn out into a good business. We haven’t seen each other for such a long time. Actually, since college days. I hardly recognized him at first and was hesitant to approach the person. He waved his hand and called me, and that was only the time that I smiled back and went to approach him.

He has gained one hundred percent of his original weight back when we were still in school. The tall lanky nerdy guy I used to know has completely changed, apart from the fact that he became really fat, he has also stopped wearing glasses after his lasik eye surgery.

Anyway, his wife was also there and she is also above average weight. She said she gained weight too after having their child. I told them that it’s not healthy and she said that’s why they are currently going through this program to lose weight. Aside from taking weight loss pills, they are also going to the gym everyday, and starting to play tennis. My friend who used to play golf a lot, got addicted to PC games, which he does after work, making him not move much, eat more and gain weight.

Oh well, it’s never too late to change their lifestyle. And because he’s a true blue gaming fanatico, I told him to just wait for the release of kinect here and buy one for a gaming entertainment that doesn’t get one stuck in the couch.

I checked out on the items that I could avail using my reward card. I have accumulated a lot of points already, and have used some for covering up certain fees and buying credits for my phone before. But, recently, I haven’t used my points, and I saw that there are a lot of new items listed on the site where I can redeem my rewards.

I’m thinking of getting a new blender, and probably I’ll just redeem GCs for my favorite restaurants and gadget shops. It would definitely save me a lot of money. That’s the great thing about having a reward points from your card, because at the end of the day, you will get back something for what you’ve spent.

I am tempted to buy an iPhone 4, I really want one so bad. It’s been awhile since I last bought a phone and I also want to give one to my baby who loves gadgets.

I checked on the local iPhone store, but there’s a huge difference when it comes to price. I guess I’ll have to ask my friends who can buy it for me for a much lower price directly from apple store with iphone warranty.

I’m afraid it might take sometime though before they get to give it to me since I would be able to save on the shipping cost if it will be hand carried instead of being sent through air freight.

I really want that iPhone 4 soon, and I’m gonna work hard to get it.

I never had experience going to a clearance sale before, but I’ve heard a lot from people who loves shopping. Today, while I was on my way to the doctor, I saw he sign again in an office furniture supplies shop, with the super low prices in huge tags and the discount signs all over.

I wanted to get off the moving vehicle to check it out but I had to hurry to where I’m heading otherwise I may not catch the doctor. I wasn’t able to set an appointment and I was just trying my luck to get accommodated.

I guess I will just drop by that store some other time, because I really need a working table. At least now I have an idea where to go to find those super low priced clearance sale furniture.

Becoming a doctor is one of my biggest dreams even as a kid. I would always play doctor to my toy soldiers who go to play-battle, or my playmates when we play doctor-patient thing in school or even at home with my cousins. But I never got to realize that dream. It’s not that it’s too late, but a lot of things changed.

Last night,  I had this dream of me being a doctor, complete with the outfit, stethoscope, glasses, and that doctor smiled plastered in my face. At least, I know that was a doctor smile. In my dream I was in a hospital complete with all the facilities, I see one doctor preparing the spirometers and smiling back at me calling me and saying, “What’s up Doc?” I felt like I was Doogie Howser.

When I was about to say something back, I heard a bang just right behind me, when I turned back, I woke up from my dream, and in reality, my neighbors were fighting again was banging their door and saying things I could hardly hear.
