Bugatti Veyron

Aug 31 2010 Published by admin under Random Thoughts

buggati
Bugatti Veyron is one the most desired car, by auto enthusiasts, by ordinary people who can drive and even those who doesn’t know how to.

I dream to have this soon, if possible now, or tomorrow. I know, I know, that’s a completely silly thought, but it’s free to dream, right?

If only I could afford to buy a Bugatti Veyron. Or if only someone so rich would be generous to give it to me as a gift. ^^ But of course, there’s no sane individual who would do just that. But who knows….

Hahaha Just major major wishful thinking… They say, “good vibes attract good things” ^^ I might just attract a Bugatti Veyron, by luck. I hope I win the lottery, which reminds me, I have to go buy my ticket.

Tech Queen

Aug 07 2010 Published by admin under Random Thoughts

Uncle Roger was asking what’s the best document scanning software to use. I told him to ask his daughter instead, because she’s the one who is familiar when it comes to those gadgets, softwares, etc. She’s the tech queen and she lives up to it. She has the latest versions of everything, and the latest gadgets too!

Yeah it really takes someone to have a good budget range to be able to cope with the super fast changing technology. I wouldn’t even wonder if our tech gadget queen will also have the kinect gaming console soon as it’s released, because she’s also a gaming fanatic.

I guess I’ll just be contented with my old ones, since they are still in mint condition, but I wish I can also experience the new tech soon as they’re introduced, that’s why I’m looking forward to the Expo this coming 17th – 19th. So, I can check all those latest gadgets for free!

Beating the Buzzer

Aug 07 2010 Published by admin under Random Thoughts

Whenever there’s something I want to buy, I always try to check the online auction if they have the stuff I need, because if you get really lucky, you can actually get those items for less, granted that you win the bid, and no one bids higher than you.

My technique is to bid just right before the bidding time expires. I like beating that invisible buzzer and seeing if I won or not. It makes it more exciting while at the same time, you are sure that others are not likely to bid after you. Higher chance of grabbing the item you want.

I got a vintage camera this way. My older cousin really wanted it so bad, and could not find it anywhere in the local stores, because it was a really old item. We also searched the local retro and vintage shops, but to no avail. We only found it online, and we search for inactive auctions and bid just right before it ended. We got it super cheap and it’s working perfectly fine! Good as new since it’s a collector’s item that’s well taken cared of.

Matching Colors

Aug 07 2010 Published by admin under Random Thoughts

Baby is looking for plastic knobs that are of the same color with that of the door panel of her old cabinet. She has this bad habit of pulling the knobs forcefully open, even if they’re locked, and after years of doing that, her old knobs gave up on her.

Matching colors isn’t hard because there is a variety to choose from when it comes to plastic knobs. They actually cost less too, and if you plan to change the colors and repaint your doors, it’s easy to find one that perfectly first and matches with it. This is good especially for those who are very particular when it comes to making sure that everything matches the theme of their homes, room, etc.

Recycling Eco-friendly Materials

Aug 06 2010 Published by admin under Random Thoughts

I’ve seen some house models and realized that they actually cost a lot. Perhaps I could make money making them, or something to that sort.

I asked the person in charge, what they were made of, and she told me that they were made out of plastic and other materials. As I examined it further, it gave me this idea aof recreating the designs, however I’ll make use of recycled eco-friendly materials such as cartoons.

With a sharp box cutter or a simple knife, I will just create dioramas made out of the old unused boxes, rather than buying new materials. I can make money and at the same time help preserve the environment, through the power of recycling.

Postcards From The Heart

Aug 06 2010 Published by admin under Random Thoughts

During the old days and even until now, postcard printing business is still going strong. Why? Because postcards are one of the most preferred mediums when it comes to expressing our thoughts and feelings.

When we feel sad for people grieving, we send them out condolences. When we are happy for someone’s luck, fortune or success, we send them cards saying our congratulations, and when someone do us a favor, we send them cards to express our gratitude.

When we want to invite people to an event or gathering, such as parties for birthdays, we send them invitation cards too. When we want to greet people for any occasion, we also use the power of cards to make them happy.

We also send cards just to express our sweet nothings or to simple let people that we love know that we are thinking of them. That is why, there is no way that it’s going out of business for as long as people exist and keep sending postcards from the heart.

The Viking Warrior

Aug 06 2010 Published by admin under Random Thoughts

Back when I was in college, we had this play, and we had to wear costumes for our roles. During the dress rehearsals, the viking warrior adult costumes really caught my attention among all the other costumes that were shown to us. I wasn’t chosen to play warrior, because I had to play another role with really long lines. The director said that the warriors didn’t have liens to memorize and my role was pretty good, for me to even envy them just because of the costumes. Others were asked to pick their choice of roles for the play, but mine was pre-assigned.

I’ve always wanted to play viking warrior, but never had the chance to, even back when I was in grade school. I played Japanese warrior back then instead. Now, I’m way too old for plays, or maybe not, but I think I’ll never get another chance to do another one, but who knows… and just in case, this time I want to play either the archer’s role or a viking warrior.
