Technology has brought us many good things, including bar coding which makes a lot of things and processes easier, faster, and save us a lot of money. It’s great to have something useful as a barcode scanner in our everyday lives.
Just imagine the ID and point of sale systems minus the bar codes. The manual process takes up so much time, which leads to spending more money, most especially in businesses. Bar codes are even used in other ways, that most people don’t know of, such as tagging wild animals who are set free in the wild after being taken cared of and rehabilitated in the sanctuary. There are many more applications wherein bar coding system has become really significant, and I’m sure it will be utilized even more in the future.
