Looks could be so deceiving. I had a professor back in college who looks like a warlock, possessed a killer’s gaze, and looked really strict. We gave him the codename, Professor Snape. Because he perfectly resemble Harry Potter’s professor. At first, we found it hard being around him, but after awhile, most especially when we got the chance to know him better, he became our favorite professor.
In contrast to our first impression of him, he is very kind, accommodating, reasonable, and very considerate. I can say that he’s one of the best professors I’ve ever known in my entire academic life. One of the best examples when it comes to the saying, “don’t judge a book by it’s cover.”
You wouldn’t know what a person is made of, just by looking at their physical appearance, outfit, etc. Some people look good, but have really nasty characters. Others look smart, but have an empty head. Many out there are the types who are being misunderstood, simply because they do not meet the physical criteria being set by idealistic people, who themselves, are not even ideal at all.
Always remember, some good lenses may come with bad frames.
