Swimming – the Sport I love!

I really miss swimming. One of these days I will take a short ride to the beach and go swimming. It’s been awhile since the last time I went to the beach.

I love the beach, and most of all I love swimming. Not only because swimming is a whole lot of fun, but also because it’s a great form of  cardio workout, most especially for people who have asthma like me.

Do you know that swimming and jogging is equal when it comes to burning 500cal per hour? What is great about swimming is  that, it’s like  hitting a flock of birds with just one stone. It involves almost all of your muscles, without the stress and impacts on joints, so it wont affect your knees.

I used to do other sports before like badminton and tennis, and sometimes basketball. But I’ve injured myself a few times, which made me focus more on swimming instead. Try it too and discover the wonders of swimming plus it helps you get a good shape!
