Many people share their stories about love, life, and health. Some talk about their families and some talk about their personal experiences. But there’s one person whom I personally know, whose story has really impressed me in a way. Of all weight loss stories I’ve heard and read, hers is the most inspiring.
She gained weight when she was in her college years, probably due to stress combined with binge eating and uncontrolled cravings for food. Her mom also loves cooking yummy food that’s why she can’t help but eat and eat and eat.
But then one day, she noticed that she is becoming so unhealthy and start to feel a lot of pains in her body. When she went to see a doctor, she was advised to take medication to lower her cholesterol and blood sugar level, otherwise it could cause more serious diseases.
Reality started to sink in and she started to acknowledge that in fact she has weight issues and need to do something about it. She started to cut on her diet, eat healthy, take vitamins and exercise. She also used some supplements to aid her shedding off those excess fats.
Unbelievably, in a few months time, she was half the person she used to be. Yes, that’s how big she was before. It’s really amazing…. I always encourage her to tell her story to other people for them to get inspired to lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
