The whole city is lit up, the streets have Christmas lights, I think it will run until January and even after the celebration of Sinulog Festival. Before, whenever I see this kind of sight, it makes me feel good and warm inside, but right now it doesn’t feel the same. Christmas makes me miss the good old days when I was young.
People are already wrapping gifts, and sending Merry Christmas and Happy New Year greetings. Amish fireplace lit up and Christmas trees come alive with decors and lights. I could hear the kids singing Christmas carols every now and then. I wonder when Santa Claus is coming to town, I hope he drops by my place and give me the things I wished for in my Christmas list. I know I’ve been bad but I wish he’d consider anyway.
