Taking a vacation off from work is kind of hard, most especially if you work in a hospital. Well, that’s the thing about living in a fast paced life in a city that never sleeps. Uncle Simeon spent almost all his life in New York after he graduated in college. He got married there to a co-nurse and have kids whom he also raised with the same lifestyle. They say it’s really hard, because you don’t get to spend much time with your family except during holidays. The last time they visited was when I was still in high school, and that was years back, because instead of going home, they rather go to another state to spend their vacation to avoid long travels.
Lately, they plan to spend their Christmas with his wife’s parents in Florida, but I guess they would be going there a week before and probably staying in a hotel. I hope they’d get to grab orlando hotel deals that would not be too heavy on the pockets and enjoy their vacation. I guess they really need some time away and relax, because I’ve heard that Uncle’s work has been really stressful lately, and the cold weather in New York is not really helping. Maybe he just needs to relax and unwind, maybe get pampered in a spa and get a massage too especially because they stand most of the time and keep doing rounds in the hospital which strains their legs a lot. Both Uncle Simeon and his wife truly deserves a good Christmas break.
