Love At First Sight – Coz poetry doesnt have to rhyme
Love at First Sight? I guess that’s what they call it.
I never believed that there is such a thing or is it some kind of phenomenon?
I never thought it was possible, but it happened, and now I know, it is true!
I thought it would take forever before I fall in love again,
and I thought I would never love another….
But I was wrong… So wrong
Because it only took less than a second
to change that perspective when you came
I have never seen anyone as beautiful as you, never in my entire life
When you cried, I wanted to be the one to make you smile
I love talking to you, even when you don’t say a thing
i love watching you even if you seem to stare blankly into space all the time
I understand, you don’t really see me the way I want you to see me now,
but soon I know you will, and I know you would love me just the same.
I love you now, and I will love you for as long as I could
Now, I can say, I am truly in love with two people at the same time
She who left, and you who came to make me smile again
I love you both, I love her more though….
I’m sorry, it’s not like what you think. It’s just that…
Ok, no more excuses, I know there is no way I can explain
and I know you won’t understand right now, maybe someday…
But You know what…
I would be the happiest person in this world,
If you came, and she never went away
Two-Timing-Madufkr huh?
Yeah, i know…
Damn, right?
Damn I love her!!!!
and I love you too.
Nah.. it’s not what they think.
It’s just.. yah whatever, ok?
Love at first sight…
Did I really have to see you first, before I loved you?
Not really…
I know I have always loved you, I just didn’t know how much
and I just had no way to express it.
But now, I am pretty sure about how I feel.
I know I can’t have you forever,
And just like the other person I love,
You too will leave me one day,
or perhaps, it will be the other way around.
I love her, and I love you too… I know that is way complicated
I know I can’t deny that I wish you were a representation of everything that’s her.
But rest assured that I loved you for who you are and not for any other reason…
And definitely not because I saw her in you.
All I am asking for is a chance… a chance to let me love you,
One day I know…. You will learn to love me too.
And everything will fall into place
So, was it really Love at first sight?
Maybe…
Maybe not…
i love her… I really do, and I hope you’ll understand.
so what am I really trying to say now?
I dunno…
