awesome mama

Jan 22 2009 Published by Alexis under Random Entries

I’m amazed how angel got to maintain her figure all these time. It’s as if nothing has changed at all, except that she’s grown of course. The last few times I saw her, I never had a clue that she already bore a child. According to he mama she’s never gained much weight during the pregnancy and kept herself fit. After the pregnancy she got back and maintained her pre-pregnancy weight without struggling to do so. I don’t know if it’s just her metabolism or it’s the stress caused by studying and then having such a difficult work load and schedule. While other woman had to use a fat burner to lose weight after their pregnancy, she was just cool about it. She wasn’t even conscious about either losing or gaining weight. Maybe it’s all in the mind and discipline, coz she eats healthy food. Even JJ has developed this liking for healthy diet. There’s only one thing I can say, Angel is one hot Awesome Mama!

Barack Obama

Barack Obama

Barack Obama

Barack Obama has finally took his step into U.S. and World history as the 44th president of the United States. Everyone was so busy trying to get hold of tickets, or getting a chance to watch the Live inauguration on TV or online via Live video feeds. I wasn’t able to do so. While the whole world was watching the historic event happen, I was too busy taking care of my own life trying to put the broken pieces together. Not that I don’t care about it, in fact I am one big Barack Obama supporter, and I believe in his capabilities.
Now, I am still trying to find a certain video that I could watch, for sure I’d find one in youtube. Where did you watch the inauguration? Or were you fortunate enough to attend? I hope that Obama who is now holding a very significant position not only in The U.S. but the whole world will finally bring Change not only to U.S. Economy, but also to the betterment of all countries in the UN.
If there’s are two problems that I wish he would work on aside from the current economic depression and terrorism, it would be energy dependence and global warming. God Bless Barack Obama! God Bless America, God Bless us All!

May his becoming president of one of the biggest and strongest link in this world signify the real change that we all need.

Addicted to TV Series

Jan 22 2009 Published by Alexis under Random Entries

My siblings are getting addicted to TV Series. Before it was just a mild liking for watching the breath taking scenes of the series, but then it turned extreme. Now they are watching them on DVD’s. Like my eldest and youngest siblings for instance, they’re so addicted to CSI and heroes. She’s been watching All CSI and Heroes series. My grandma even joked about them being like panda’s already, the areas around their eyes have already darkened due to staying up late just to finish the DVD. I remember before, it was Charmed and Prison Break that they got so hooked with. They tell em not to tease them coz according to them I’m stiff and steady as tv stands when I’m watching Manga series like One Piece and Naruto. :P Oh well, we all have our choices.

Bamboo Shades

Bamboo Shades

Bamboo Shades

Bamboo shades are products of a man’s creativity when it comes to  making use of natural resources. It is one of the masterpieces from the ancient art of weaving bamboo. Until the present, bamboo shades are still being used in both modern and contemporary houses, even in establishments and offices.  These weaved shades are made of shaped and dried canes of the bamboo and rope braided reeds. Nowadays, the bamboo blinds that we buy from home depots are crafted using modern technology but are still using the techniques and designs from the ancient times.

Aside from the fact that they are very affordable, they are also nature friendly coz they eliminate the use of plastics, pvc, other unnatural materials. It also gives your place that fresh ambiance and enhances the view of your windows.

it's a hair thing!

Jan 17 2009 Published by Alexis under Random Entries

Are you pro temporary hair removal like waxing or you prefer permanent hair removal using laser treatment? I prefer the latter and to have it done by people who have the right knowledge and has gone through extensive laser hair removal training. I know there may be a lot of other  laser hair removal techniques out there. Sandy said it takes not only one session to have it done. It actually requires a certain number of sessions before the hairs are completely eradicated.  I trust her opinion about this, coz she’s the one who has gone through it already. I know for a fact that some people even buy their own equipments so they won’t have to go to clinics or to doctors, and some really study, buy instructional videos, or go through trainings too. This is usually done by people who are either too conservative, or they don’t have time and they feel confident that they can do it on their own. Whichever you prefer, just be sure you’re knowledgeable enough.

opportunities in the midst of world crisis

Jan 16 2009 Published by Alexis under Random Entries

We all know that all countries in this world is suffering because of lack of opportunities due to the ongoing world crisis. Many are being laid off from work every single day, while the jobless people remains empty handed. But do you know that there are still good opportunities in the midst of the current world crisis? If you’ve noticed, medical assistant training school and other training facilities continue to gain students who want to be able to acquire certificates. This is because there is still a huge demand for medical assistants and other medical workers all throughout the world, most especially in Europe. Even in Asia, the need for caregivers is increasing most especially in the homes for the elderly. I guess some people have been concentrating too much on other fields when they have an option to still get hired for another item.

Staying Under The Safe Side

Jan 06 2009 Published by Alexis under Random Entries

Among the two of us, I was the one who was more particular when it comes to security and making sure things are in order and handled well. Let’s say I’m a control freak too, coz whenever things goes wrong and I become helpless, I end up regretting and saying if only, and I hate that. That’s why I always make sure that things are well taken cared of, and if ever there are any pitfalls with the decisions or the projects I’m coming up with, I don’t stop until the feasibility study shows that there is a big assurance of success. I know at some things you have to risk, but there there are also a lot of things that you can’t just risk at all. It’s still better to have an assurance, and to stay at the safe side of things. My friend, although he was not entirely the opposite of what I am, he is usaully the risk taker, but when he planned to get a car, I made sure that he considered things like compare auto insurance as to which could give him the best policy. He’s been working for the money he was going to use to buy his car, and not only that, accidents can happen anywhere at any given time. I know he  doesn’t have much to have his own car or someone else fixed just in case of getting ruined.
