bitten by a bug

Aug 19 2008 Published by Alexis under Random Thoughts

I have been having problems with browsing lately, after installing the last windows updates. I’m not sure what kind of bug has bitten my Os again. Anyway, I just tried doing system restore and it sort of fixed it but not totally. I still have a problem with selective browsing. I’m a little sad because I wont be able to go online for awhile, and I just wanted to have a little time with my friends online through IMVU. I have a few new great stuff that i bought recently. But my favorite is the number 21 and skull pizza shirt that JJ bought for me.I always wear it with my brown plaid long shorts and the cutie Dansko sandals. Hope I get to connect soon.

a great resource

Aug 11 2008 Published by Alexis under Random Thoughts

I just got to talk to my friend Sadie about blogging and getting a paypal account to make purchasing online easier for her. Sadie is so much into books, she’s actually a great writer that’s why I suggested blogging to her. Anyway, I found out that she actually doesn’t have a credit card yet. Obviously, she needs one to be able to verify her account. Sadie is not really that savvy when it comes to computers and the internet. She have not tried buying anything from the internet or anything of that sort. Although she’s always been interested in applying for a credit card. I told her that there are actually great resources when it comes to credit card applications online, like say RequestCredit.com is one great example. The site offers not only great credit card deals but is also a helpful and great resource of information about credit cards. Sadie does meet all the requirements to apply for one, so I told her if ever she could read though, and check out the best credit card deal that would suit her. I got mine from Citibank and I’m pretty contented with it. Having one does not only give me purchasing power, but it also helps improving my credit standing. Given that you pay on time of course and you have a good credit history. I can’t wait till Sadie gets her account. At least when she has her credit card, she can purchase all the great books she’d want to purchase online.

personal touch

Aug 10 2008 Published by Alexis under Random Thoughts

Personal touch is very important when it comes to gift. I think the price and the amount only comes next, it’s always the thought that counts. No matter how small or big, how expensive or cheap, or even when a gift doesn’t come with a price tag. When it’s heartily given, it could mean so much more than any other gifts. Well, that’s my opinion. If the price matters to you more, then I guess that’s your thing too. But, for me those personalized gifts that I received are gifts that I treasure the most. One example is the handkerchief that my grandmother gave me when I was a kid.  It wasn’t just a plain one, because she embroidered my name on it. Sweet, isn’t it? I think, any kid that you give either a handcrafted or simply a personalized item to, would always remember you, because you gave them something precious to remember you by — your personal touch.

something worthwhile

Aug 10 2008 Published by Alexis under Random Thoughts

Dad was thinking of going to his sibling in San Francisco while I’m staying here in my aunt’s place. He’s thinking of checking out some jobs in San Francisco. I think he’s a little bored and worried about our finances and he would want to do something worthwhile. I know that our being here costs him a lot, and my medications even pushes it the edge all the more. How I wish that there’s something that I could do to help him out, but I guess the best thing I can do is just take extra care of myself, and maybe try to avoid arguing with him. I know he’s thinking about a lot of things, and that includes our whole family back home. I miss them too just as much as he does, I really hope my mom would come here soon. Although, I also think she’d better stay behind, coz my siblings needs her too.

Zenni Style

Aug 10 2008 Published by Alexis under Random Thoughts

Incredible Stylish New Frames From Zenni are being introduced to the market recently. In fact, Zenni Optical was on FOX news! I think it’s a great way to market and introduce the Zenni Optical $ 8 Rx Eyeglasses to more people watching out there.  Great move from Zenni Indeed! Anyway, have you gotten your pair of eye wear from Zenni yet? If not, better grab one now before they ran out of stocks, althought i doubt it that they would. Looks like this Zenni craze will go on and on and on.

a space saver

Aug 10 2008 Published by Alexis under Random Thoughts

My friend’s condominium unit isn’t that big so instead of buying the old school TV, she’s thinking perhaps a plasma TV would be the best option, not only for good viewing purposes, but because of it’s sleek design, and it can help her save up space by just mounting it to the wall.  A total space saver! Plasma and other LCD screens are pretty expensive, and one can’t afford any accidents with it comes to very expensive things. So, I told her that she has to be very careful with her purchase when it comes to a plasma tv mount. I told her to get one that is strong enough to hold and secure the appliance. It matters that it could hold the screen in place whatever situation may arise. I told her it’s better safe than regretting later on if something bad happens to her new appliances.

let it burn

Aug 10 2008 Published by Alexis under Random Thoughts

When I first got back here from Canada, I was kind of skinny. Lexi always kept joking about me being so skinny and all that, so I’ve decided to gain a little weight. But, I guess I’ve gained a little more than I expected. Now, I feel that I’m getting kind of fat. Well, that’s how I feel. Since I’m staying at their place for the meantime, I try to exercise a lot more often, my favorite is the elliptical. Seeing me trying to gain back my ideal weight, my friend suggested that I take some diet pills that she’s taking. She’s not really into exercisong and all that. It works for her, but on my end, I love sweating up and burning out those extrta flabs. I try to drink water more than the usual. It really helps.

Alexis Wired

Alexis Wired : Alex Is Wired

What is the price of a single smile that i cant even afford to paint it on my lips? The last few weeks has been very difficult for me in fact I really had a hard time dealing with all the changes in my life. But today, I just wrote a rather positive post entitled I am happy. Although I had it published in my other blog, Alexis Wired. Some would rather read it as Alex is Wired. Whatever suits you is alright. AlexIsWired is basically just another blog filled with my deviations in life, love, and etc. Aidan here is more like my poetry and writings blog. I guess what makes AlexIsWired different is that it has less of the poetry side and more of the random musings and ramblings plus some techy posts. Anyway, I just wanted to share. Check it out, if you want. I’ll go for now and log on to check my assignments from the university online. See ya later.
