How dehumidifiers work

For a sickly person like me, especially because I have asthma and allergic rhinitis too, I need to keep my room clean and dust free as much as possible. Not only that, since my windows are closed to avoid dust from coming in, we installed an air conditioning unit instead. Because of the cold temperature moist air forms in the glass windows but the AC works as a dehumidifier as well, to rid of those moist that can form. Before I had a separate dehumidifier. A dehumidifier is basically a type of air conditioner that has both its hot and cold coils inside the same unit. It’s fan draws the collected air in the room over the cold coil of the AC, the moisture is then condensed, the moist then drips down to the cooling pan or bucket. Then dry air passes on through the heating coil to bring the room’s air back up to its original temperature. If you have a room that is air conditioned, it should not need a dehumidifier — the air conditioner should be doing the dehumidifying for you. Santa Fe dehumidifiers are known for it’s great quality and efficiency.
