I gotta get out of here

I’ve been sick for the past few days, and now here I am, back to my dreaded home away from home. Yeah, I’m confined at the hospital, again. It’s my second day already, and whether the doctor allows it or not, I’ll be going out this afternoon and just rest at home. I already signed that waiver thing. I’m so bored here, I don’t like hospital smell. I don’t like people going in and out of my room and checking on me every now and then. Even when you are sleeping, they just sneak in and then start pumping in those meds into my system making my arm feel really numb. Then you start feeling whoozy and doze off. I hate waking up in pain — only to be put back to sleep that way.
Oz was supposed to stay with me right now, but he couldn’t stay that long because had to attend a meeting for the community service project that his organization is planning. I guess I already blogged about it before. He’s doing this volunteer work at a drug treatment center. He’s been doing that for quite sometime now, about 4 years, I guess. Anyway, my younger brother Jay will be back any moment. I asked him to settle the bills so we can get out of here before the day ends. I don’t really like staying here. I just wanna go home now, and lie down comfortably on my own bed, in my own room. I know, I’ll be just fine, and besides staying here costs a lot, I’d rather spend the money to buy medicines, or spend a day in a nice beach resort or hotel, than pay for this expensive room.

I gotta get out of here…..

  3. yeah, spending money for a day in a nice beach resort/hotel is way way much better compared to staying in a hospital!
    get well soon!

ps. have added na your other blog. thanks for adding mine!

  4. Hope that you are feeling better soon. I hate hospitals too. My son was just there about two weeks ago. It was sad to see an 18 month old hooked up to I.V.s… the little bugger actually almost got them out… He is so strong it took four nurses to hold him and get the I.V. in… So hard to watch.

    Prayers,

  5. Thanks Lae Wendy and Mai… and to you too Brian, I hope baby Mikey is ok now. yeah it’s hard when a baby gets sick. With such tiny veins and so big needles and the IV making it so uncomfy. It’s really hard to get sick… I’m so sick and tired of getting so sick. I just wanna be completely ok.
