swipe easy

May 31 2008 Published by Alexis under Random Entries

Having a credit card is a good thing for me, it really helps a lot, most especially during emergencies. I’m a proud Citibank credit card holder for a few years now, and I never had any credit issues or problems at all. Having one doesn’t have to be a liability as others sees it. It’s all about how you manage your finances, control your expenses, and most of all, on time payment. If you can afford to pay your balances in full, do so.

I actually enjoy my purchases now more than I did before. Who won’t if you get a good card with six to twelve months 0% interest rates for certain merchants? I also get reward points that I could exchange for any items or convert into miles. If you travel often, you may actually opt to getting a card that gives miles as rewards. If you make a lot of purchases or you love to go shopping a lot, you may also get a card which offers cash back bonuses or cash rebates, etc. But, be sure to choose the one with the best fee free credit card offers from the banks who are included in the best credit card providers, and who gives such great offers. Like I said, I got mine from Citibank, they gave me the no annual fee offer plus all other reward programs, and it also includes my younger brother’s extension card. I’m so happy with it, and I have no plans on switching most especially now that they’ve just increased my credit limit. A good payer gets a higher credit limit, and I’m proud to say I am one. If you’re interested in finding the best credit card that offers no annual fees, you could check bestcreditoffers.com. They’ve also got all other great offers from only the top trusted banks. It’s a great resource most especially if you want to apply for a credit card online. Safe, fast and secure.

Just an advise though, when you get your card, swipe easy. Just because you have a high credit limit, it doesn’t mean your expenses have to reach the credit floor. Stay on you income range, and the amount that you can easily pay. Always have in mind that it would affect your credit score. So, be diligent.

the courage of facing the truth and letting it out

May 31 2008 Published by Alexis under Random Entries

It’s hard to face the truth and let it out most especially if it’s something that has wounded you so deeply, and wounded others at the same time. Some people involved may misinterpret it as admitting that you are at fault, but if that’s the only way to set yourself free, face the consequence. Perhaps someday, they would be able to understand.

It takes a lot to do such things, some people end up just denying what their heart desires because of fear. It’s so easy to just keep things the way they are, and to stay on your comfort zones. But, the fulfillment and sense of freedom that you would achieve, when you face those fears and let the truth out is like no other.

Any fool can run towards the light. It takes a master with courage to turn and face the darkness and shine his own light there.” — Leslie Fieger – author of the Delfin Knowledge System

You need to face your fears and do things because you want them. Not simply because you must or because it’s for the good of people you are concerned about. You are responsible for your own happiness as they are for themselves. People do affect people, someone could make you happy, or do things that will bring joy to you. But, it’s only within you that you would find the ultimate happiness.

why life insurance matters

May 28 2008 Published by Alexis under Random Entries

Many people overlook the importance of having a life insurance. Some say, oh those companies are just trying to make money from people. For me, it’s actually all about people helping people. A certain company managing all contributions to be able to compensate other members, and eventually providing all member a premium pension or supplementary income upon reaching the age of retirement, or after the maturity period of the insurance is covered. It is also a way to be able to protect the member and his or her family in case of decease or invalidity of the individual who has the insurance. Even if the person who happened to be the breadwinner could no longer work, he would be compensated and would receive supplementary income. And in cases where a person who has the life of insurance dies, the beneficiaries will get death benefits, the insurance company will cover all the expenses, as well as provide the beneficiaries with a pension or supplementary income. Thus, preventing any unwanted expenditures, and ensuring that your beneficiaries will continue to live their life normally.

If you care about protecting yourself, your income, and getting a premium pension when your time to retire comes, check out some life insurance quotes, and choose the insurance policy that suits you best. The younger the better, the earlier you get to pay off your insurance, the earlier it matures, and the earlier you get your pension.

a quick remedy

May 28 2008 Published by Alexis under Random Entries

When it comes to  emergencies and financial crisis, we all know that for an employed person who has savings in the bank , the quickest way is to withdraw money from his or her savings account. To those who have credit cards, they make purchases from their credit cards first and pay them after their billing cycles. But, what if you have no savings account or a credit card at all, and you’re just relying on your monthly salary. Or if you have and it’s not enough to pay your bill, purchase something, or for the amount of cash that you would need for a certain emergency situation? That’s where cash advance payday loans gets into the picture. They are the quickest financial remedies of the recent time. The previous generations relied on their old school counterparts which are pawning and going to loan sharks. Well, until today, some are still into that. But, why risk your life loaning from loan sharks and gangsters that might just be a cause of another problem, or pawn your properties or personal belongings, when you can have a quick personal cash advance with no collaterals needed? If you meet the requirements and qualify, you could get your cash sooner than you think. A quick remedy, that even though it’s just a  temporary help or solution, would actually be a stepping stone towards the resolution of a problem while giving you an easy way to pay back.

This reminds me of Haw in "Who Moved my Cheese?"

May 28 2008 Published by Alexis under Random Entries

Have you ever read “Who Moved my Cheese?” It’s the best gift I got for my birthday, courtesy of K. It’s really nice, you better read it too. So simple, yet it’s made an impact on my life that’s meant to last forever.

I found this very old sketchbook of mine. One page stood out from the rest, it wasn’t even a sketch that was in there, it was different because I had something written on it, instead of a portrait or a picture drawn. Anyway, let me share it to you guys. It reminds me of Haw in “Who Moved my Cheese?” Here it is:

Sometimes we have to leave some things and people behind in order for us to move on and grow. I think it’s about time that I take a step forward, and start life anew. Let go of the past and move on to the future — look up, look forward to the good things that this life has to offer.

I’ve long been delaying and wasting my time on petty things and hurt, that got me stuck where I am now.
I just need a long time away from everything and everyone. I have to do this, otherwise, I will regret it for the rest of my life.

The world’s way too big to be stuck in one specific corner. One specific dark corner.

I’ll pack my things and leave soon as I can, and try to see what I can do outside this little world of mine. I’d search the rest of the world to find that one thing that could change my life forever.

I’ve tried to gather my thoughts, and reminisced those times. I wrote this before i left for Shanghai. I’m proud to say, I’ve made it through those hard times. Now, I’m facing another uncertainty in my life. I wonder if the same thing would work for me. I want to pursue my studies and earn a degree online while continuing to do my projects. For now I want to focus on my personal growth, and just leave all the bad feelings behind.

seek and you shall find

May 28 2008 Published by Alexis under Random Entries

Whenever problems come to our lives, most of the time the first thing that we do is sulk, if not cry over it, some even resort to drinking, which instead of solving the problem, even adds up to it. Whenever we come face to face with challenges, the only way to get through it, is to take the challenge and work your way out of it. Otherwise, the problem will just get worse, and you could get stuck in it forever. Find solutions! Seek and you shall find the answers.

If you got to read my previous post about how a man who didn’t have any idea where to get help from to get his daughter out of the hospital, because he lack in financial resources. He got to resolve his problem just by getting cash in advance. I know, that’s a pretty simple thing, but effective. Anyone could’ve thought of that really quick, but not that particular guy, who doesn’t even take time to browse the web. He was a typical guy working as a clerk in a small office for the whole day, and goes home to his family at the end of the day. The guy didn’t stop finding and seeking for help, and he did find it, he found it here on the web, which he considered a strange place to find the answers to his problem. And he did, through people blogging about how payday loans and personal cash advances could be such a big help during emergencies.

So, if you’re in the same situation, or even if you’re not. If you’re facing life’s puzzles, do try to solve it soon as you can. There are so many resources, and sources of help that you could find, if only you’d seek for them. If you sulk, don’t expect for the answer to come your way. That only happens in fairy tales, this is reality,

a nice story

May 28 2008 Published by Alexis under Random Entries

Sometimes we find answers to our questions and solutions to our problems in the strangest and most unexpected places.

I got to read one blog entry of a guy from New Jersey, who talked about how he managed to get her daughter out of the hospital with a little help from payday loans. He said, he had no idea where to go, because during that time, his wife just lost her job and he was trying to pay-off their mortgages on his own. It was a bad timing because It’s way long before payday comes, in fact he just got his salary a week before the incident. He already used up most of it in paying for his mortgages, bills, and he also paid his other dues, leaving him with so little amount to help them survive for the rest of the next 15 days before salary time. They prayed so hard that his wife would be able to get her last pay from her previous job, but it’s far from happening. Because, she is scheduled to get her last pay a month after her resignation.

Have you ever bumped through clickables with labels such as “quick cash advance no faxing needed?” That’s what helped him! The said guy wasn’t really into surfing the web before, it’s just recently that he really started blogging to share his experiences. That time, he was trying to go through his daughter’s stuff, and out of frustration he turned on the PC and checked on what he could possibly find there. Any make money scheme would help. Then he got to read a blog that had that link. He clicked it, applied for the quick loan, got approved and Whoalah! His problem got solved. He got to pay the bills and got his daughter out of the hospital.

I think that’s one of the powers of blogging, you get to share things and ideas, and even help people without knowing it.

There's No Escape

May 28 2008 Published by Alexis under Random Entries

There’s No Escape.

Often, we try to escape from our problems and negativity instead of facing them. But, escaping just brings denial and suppression. What happens is, we just continue to carry those problems with us, until they build up inside and the time comes that we just couldn’t take it anymore.

It leads to anger, and it gives us more pain more than what the original issue or problem could’ve caused. It affects the way we think, feel, and the way we are towards other people. In short, if affects out whole being without us knowing it until it’s too late.

The first step is knowing that, There’s No Escape.

“Most of our obstacles would melt away if, instead of cowering before them, we should make up our minds to walk boldly through them.” — Orison Swett Marden

It’s not the problem itself that have caused the pain, but it is suppressing and trying to escape from it. We all know that there’s no escape. The only way out is to face the problem and find the right resolution. Otherwise, the problem will remain, and it’s for us to suffer the pain that it would inflict for as long as that problem exists.

think wise

May 28 2008 Published by Alexis under Random Entries

I’m no champion or expert when it comes to finance or debt management, but I don’t think that anyone needs to be, just to have a successful and stable financial life, or to get out debt completely. I think it’s all about being practical, separating wants from needs, and what are necessary from unnecessary. In other words, knowing when to spend or keep your money. It is best to have that “always have savings” attitude in mind, rather than spend spend spend. When it comes to debts, loans and credits, it’s quite simple, borrow only the amount that you can pay and when you’re sure that you have a source of income, where you can get those payments from. If you don’t have a job, if you don’t have money, if you’re not capable of paying, don’t even think about it. Just focus on savings first. But, if you’re already in a situation wherein you already have more than one or two debts, and you’re having a hard time taking care of them because they have separate interest rate, which one is possibly higher than the others. You still have a choice. Pay off all those debts by securing one loan with a much lower interest rate. Pay off those existing loans with the the loan and then just take care of paying one. That way you clear yourself from the other debts, start off paying right and on time with the consolidated debt, and free yourself from it eventually.

Once you get out of debt, don’t ever think about going for another adventure you might not be able to handle again. Do things right, think wise, manage your finances right, and live life easy.

Oz and Karl

May 28 2008 Published by Alexis under Random Entries

OZ, my car enthusiast best friend always say, when it comes to cars, it’s better to be sure than be sorry. I’ve overheard OZ say the same things to Karl on the conversation they had this morning. I joined them and we discussed about how it really works. Oz is an expert when it comes to those things, because not only that OZ is a full fledged car enthusiast and is also into car sales nowadays. OZ was talking about how important insuring a car is, and I’m glad we talked about it, because although I already know how essential it is, there are more things and benefits that I learned from having and not having an insurance. OZ asked me to get my laptop and we went to this site that provides car insurance quote of all types. OZ helped Karl in choosing what suits him best, that also suits the type of car that Karl just purchased recently. OZ pointed out differences and the benefits from each and every quote, and also the rates. Rates are affected by a lot of factors. If you’re interested in reading some helpful information that you think you could use, the site is carinsurancerates.com, they provide best quality information when it comes to car insurance.
