How Can I

For the past few days I’ve been trying
to look at things from a different perspective.
But, something just won’t stop haunting me.
All the what ifs and what might have been.

I try to walk blindly through this life,
trying not to notice things around me that reminds me of you.
But the more that I close my eyes,
the more that images of you become clearer.

The more that I try to blur my mind from thoughts of you,
I think of you –
all the more.

It’s as if my brain’s wearing love magnifying glasses
collecting-recollecting every bits and pieces of your memory,
making me take a closer look –
at Love, and You.

How can I forget about you?
How can I ignore this feeling?
How can I, if all the things around me,
and if every song I hear reminds me of you.

How can i?
