On Fashion
When people talk about fashion, the first few places that come into my mind are, New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Italy and Hong Kong. Why? Because our family business is all about fashion and those are the places that we go to attend fashion related shows and expos, to showcase our products and designs. Those are also the places where the famous fashion schools are located, and where the best of the best designers are based. Just like any other industry, fashion careers have their capitals, or a place where you feel that you really belong and have a chance to standout. Like the local designers here, who actually went to one of those places just to pursue their passion. I think the best thing about fashion jobs is you are always one of the first few people to know what’s going to be hip in the next season. Other than that, if you’re one good designer, you could actually set a trend for the next season or even the next generation.
