You said I got you with the first hello
But, Is that really so?
Because I think It started with Goodbye
Do you wanna know why?

Everybody says hello, anytime of the day
It’s been a normal thing that everyone would say
But it was when you said goodbye
that my heart started to feel this way

It all started when you said back then
that you think you have to talk to me less often
because you felt that you might fall in love with me
I even laughed at the thought, and never took it seriously
but later realized it wasn’t something funny

because..
it all started when you first said goodbye.

I missed you like I never
missed anyone before
I longed to be with you once more
as if waves rushing back and forth
to kiss the shore

You got me at our first major goodbye
when you said you have to stay away
because you felt that it was wrong
that you were falling deeper in love with me
each passing day

It all started with goodbye
because since then we became inseparable
and the more that we try to walk away
the more that our love prevails and endures

how many times did we say goodbye,
trying to make everything right?
How many times did we try to stop
this forbidden love?
…and how many times did we fail,
to walk away and let go?

Is this the last goodbye,
or just a brand new start?
Will you walk away from love,
and leave us both with a broken heart?

I’ll let you walk away,
I’ll let you say your goodbyes,
for it will only be another beginning
of a promised love without ending.

It all started with goodbye Anyway..
if it’s not right today,
perhaps it wont be wrong tomorrow.
Besides, forever does not end tonight
or this lifetime.

    @ Shelia& Brian - honestly I think there are a whole lot more who are much better than I am, I’m just lucky coz I got people like you who appreciates my writing.
    I’m just putting everything that i feel into words, and I wouldn’t be able to do so if not for HER, the reason behind all these.
