just a little time with some of my friends

I was out and had a little time with some from back in college. It was great seeing them again after such a long time, five years to be exact. I’ve noticed how each one of us changed in every way possible, though some of the old ways remained. We talked about the crazy things we’ve done way back and shared a good laugh. I could still imagine how it was like having them around those many years ago. It was fun being young and carefree, but I guess growing up was fun too. Now, we have more things to talk about. Before we used to talk about the future we wanted for ourselves and now we’re living it. Well, not exactly as we all planned but working on it continuously. A few years from now, I’d love to see them again, sit down and talk about the things we’ve done. It’s always a great thing to reminisce wonderful things that happened and see how much each one of us has grown.

moving on

Wow! It’s already November. Just a couple of months ago I still had my job, last Oct 17 I officially quit after a year and a month of working for Mr. Sloppy Gates. It was good while it lasted. I sure do miss a lot of people from there especially a few of them who became my friends. But, as we all know life is like that. sometimes we have to leave some things and people behind in order for us to move on and grow. It’s time I view things from a different perspective. HR asked me if I want to just file for a leave of absence instead, but I told them I just need a long time away and though I’d love to work for the company again, which I might consider in the future, I’d rather try and see what I can do outside. the world’s way too big to be stuck in one specific corner. I need to break free move on and… yeah just keep moving on.
