GLOBE BROADBAND SUCKZ!
It’s true! I’ve been using Globe broadband for quite sometime now, I don’t understand why their service is worsening each passing month. Connection is intermittent and their servers just keep on having issues. You could hardly get the 1mbps connection that you signed up for. If only there are other better broadband providers in this country, I would’ve transferred a long time ago.
I know PLDT myDSL/SmartBRO users would say they got a better deal and connection. But sorry guys coz i don’t think so. My uncle’s using smartBro and keeps on complaining about it too. I wanted to transfer to PLDT myDSL, but my neighbor just dropped his contract with them for the same reason. (Sigh) Why don’t we have too much of a choice but to stick with these companies who are monopolizing the rates of telecommunications/telecomputing industry.
I’ve heard there’s Bayantel, although the service is not available here in my area, and their rates are even higher compared to the two other major ISPs. So what are going to do now? Just wait til JGC lower the rates by doing another major move that would change the ISP rates? Hmm.. Just like what the group did to the mobile-telecomm industry? Why can’t we have SUN ISP? 24×7-Connection at 50% off the current rates! (Fun eh?) If such service exists and they’d start having issues, It wouldn’t hurt our pockets as much!
